As we begin our time in Lent it is easy to feel introspective. Lent is a time of reflection and repentance. It is singular in nature and can feel very lonely. What can I give up? What can I do differently? What am I to give? And being visited for the Capital Campaign can to feel that way. What are they going to ask of me? What am I going to have to give? And while both can feel very individual in nature, they are not. We are all in this together, for a common cause, for a common good. So please do not fear Lent, nor the Capital Campaign. He never asks more of us than we can give, and neither will we.
