This Sunday we will be welcoming a guest at the 10 am service, the Rev. Jeffery Cave, former canon precentor of the Washington National Cathedral and Assistant Minister of the Memorial Church at Harvard. Father Cave will be celebrating the Eucharist, and Susie McNiff preaching. I will be there, too--enjoying having very little to do! Father Cave is a friend and guest of parishioner John Battiloro. Hope you can come out to greet him. ALSO don't forget our Halloween Party and Graveyard Tour in the evening, starting at 6 pm. Please invite friends and neighbors to this super fun event! FINALLY, please send in the names of your deceased loved ones to be printed in our bulletin at the All Saints' service November 4. There is absolutely no fee for giving us a name. Deadline for that is next Thursday November 1. See details below.

Wine and Cheese Event October 26 TONIGHT, 7 pm
We are happy to announce that we’re starting a fellowship group for the Adults of St. James, called the “St. Jamesians.” Our plan is to meet the last Friday of each month at parishioners’ homes, with dates adjusted for the holiday months. The inaugural gathering will be a wine & cheese tasting at the Mizerik household (150 Mercer Ave, Hartsdale). If you’re interested in hosting one of these events or have theme ideas we would love to hear them. Please RSVP. Contact Amber Mizerik email@example.com. If you want to bring your favorite wine or cheese for others to try that would be great. These events are for adults only. Looking forward to seeing you there!
Halloween Party, Haunted House, & Graveyard Tour October 28
Join us for some spooky snacks and crafts, and invite your friends and neighbors
at 6 pm to our Halloween Party. Senior High Haunted House, a much-loved annual tradition, our high school kids will put together our super scary haunted house. Set-up begins at 3 pm. Come learn about the founding families of Scarsale in this popular historical graveyard tour, with costumed “ghosts” from the past! Open to the entire Scarsdale Community. All ages welcome. Tours from 6-7:30 pm every 15 minutes.
Names for Memorial List printed in bulletin November 4
Please begin sending in the names of your deceased loved ones for the All Saints' bulletin. You can send them right to Dakota in the office. Or use the link above.
We're scheduling a training session for ushers, and would love to have some new folks serving in this role. It's a great way to get to know people and get involved. If you're interested, contact Dakota in the office.
Please consider joining the Greeting Committee as we’ve lost several members who have moved away! This is one of our ministries that is perfect for those who can only serve during the 10 a.m. or special services, as there are no additional meeting requirements. The only requirements are arriving about 15 minutes before the 10 a.m. service and staying afterward … and giving a warm welcome to parishioners and visitors. Please contact Barbara Palmer (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you are interested in joining.
Evensong November 4 Ushers, Readers & Coffee Hour Hosts
Please contact Dakota in the office if you would like to be involved with the Evensong service in one of these ways.
Ask a Warden
