Get Your Car Washed This Saturday - For a Good Cause!
Parishioner Hadley Schwall and her classmates will be in the St. James parking lot this Saturday (tomorrow), 10:30 am - 5 pm washing cars to support the PaulieStrong Foundation. $10 per car.
State of the Parish Report This Sunday
Don't miss Mother Storm's annual fall overview of the year, with updates on our budget and capital projects. We'll begin right at 11:15 am in the Isom Room, over before noon, with time for Q&A.
This Sunday Acolyte Training at 11:45 am
All kids age 9 and up are invited to our acolyte training this Sunday. We'll meet in the church at 11:45, right after Music and Arts. Training lasts about 30 minutes. Want more information about it first? Contact Education Director Susie McNiff in the office.
Rural and Migrant Ministries House Gathering Monday September 24
Two members of Hitchcock Presbyterian are hosting a gathering for supporters of Rural and Migrant Ministries in their home this coming Monday. Mother Storm will be in attendance and would love to see other people from St. James there. The address is 8 Tunstall Rd, at 7:30 at the home of Rosamond and Ed Morgan.
Women's Methodist Breakfast September 29 (Saturday)
Mother Storm has been asked to speak at the Methodist Women's Prayer Breakfast at the New Rochelle United Methodist Church on September 29. The breakfast (not the talk!) goes from 8:30 - 11:00 am, and all members of St. James are invited. To RSVP, contact Dakota in our office.
St. Francis Blessing of the Animals is September 30
Bring your furry (and otherwise) friends to church for their annual blessing! This is a real church service, but brief for the comfort of our furry friends at 10 am in the Churchyard.
Junior and Senior Youth Groups and First Sunday 5 pm Service September 30
Don't miss our inaugural 5 pm service in just two weeks. This will be informal and short and open to all parishioners, followed by dinner for Senior High Youth in the rectory, and for Junior High youth in the Parish Hall.
