Children receive Communion in the Episcopal Church from the moment they reach out their hands for a wafer--the moment they desire it. This fun, interactive is for kids who may want to learn a little more about the meaning and practice of receiving Communion. Open to all elementary age kids, even if they've already done a Communion class. Repetition is a great way to learn! Kids will walk learn about the steps of the Christian journey, starting with Baptism, will get a sneak peek of "backstage" where Sunday Communion is prepared, and practice receiving at the altar rail. Led by the clergy, and followed by the 10:30 am Service.
