St. James Cherubs & Choristers
Begins the week of September 20th!

CHERUB CHOIR

Cherub Choir for our youngest ones through grade 1 will be learning new music with Victoria during Children’s Chapel this year! It’s a great way to learn something new in their own service, AND once per month on the 4th Sunday so they get to share their music as their musical offering during the 10:30 service. We are looking forward to having their voices heard in this joyful way!

ST JAMES CHORISTERS

Choristers is offered for children in grades 2-8 who enjoy singing but would like to use their musical abilities to grow in faith and service at St James. St James the Less is an Affiliate of the Royal School of Church Music (RSCM), an acclaimed structured choral training guide. Through this training guide, choristers:

  • Become rooted in the excellence of the Anglican choral tradition
  • Develop well-rounded musicianship as well as build lifelong growth in music & faith
  • Lead the ministry of music at St James the Less
  • Become fluent in music reading skills
  • Develop vocal skills, knowledge of musical understanding, repertoire, and liturgy
  • Gain life lessons such as leadership, teamwork, discipline and self-confidence
