Bring Something to Coffee Hour

Thank you, Jose!

Join us for a send off for our Sunday Sexton Jose

Jose Jimenez has been with St. James on Sundays and as needed for the past 4 years. He has had both of his children baptized at St. James as well. He has been so valuable to every facet of our church life including Altar Guild, the Choir, the Nursery School and of course our Coffee Hour.  No matter what was needed he stepped up and a solved problem, moved equipment, set up for outdoor services and was the friendly face that greeted you and help with the parking lot. He is responsible for picking up the bagels every Sunday morning as well!  While with us he joined the National Guard and continues to serve in that capacity.  Jose will be leaving St. James the Less for now as he continues his life of service to in the NYC Police Department. Jose is happy about this new chapter of his life and we are proud of this accomplishment for him. Thank you, Jose. We will miss you!!

Please join us Sunday Oct. 26th after the 10:30 service to thank and wish Jose well with a celebratory coffee hour.

Annual Appeal: Stories From You!

Annual Appeal: Stories From You!

Hear from 2 generations of parishioners about what St. James means to them.

This week watch James McNally and Charles Gibson speak about their experiences at St. James.  It’s a great reminder of how important your support is to fueling our ministries, strengthening our worship, and extending love into our community. If you haven’t yet made your pledge, now is the perfect time to add your gift to the growing wave of generosity that is shaping the future of St. James the Less. Each gift, great or small, matters more than you know.

“God loves a cheerful giver.” — 2 Corinthians 9:7
