Weekly News from St. James the Less

This Weekend at St. James

Hello Parishioners, I hope you're all enjoying the snowy quiet of these days of Christmastide. When you come to church tomorrow, you'll notice that it's still very much Christmas--the music, the decorations, the readings. This is one of my favorite times in the church calendar; while the world is packing up, we're just getting going. Which means you can savor the things about this season that can be difficult to even notice in the rush leading up to Christmas Day. If you're looking for some peace, and provided your driveways and roads are clear, join us for worship tomorrow. Then come again on Wednesday evening to ring in the new year with some incredibly talented and dedicated musicians playing Bach's Brandenberg Concertos. More information on that below--and get your tickets before they sell out! A blessed Christmastide, and hope to see you tomorrow. -Mo. Storm

Ring in the New Year with all six of Bach's Brandenburg Concertos led by former St James the Less Music Director, Matthew Lewis. This masterpiece, forgotten and unpublished for over 100 years, almost lost during WWII, and today's most popular Baroque work, will be performed by an all-professional orchestra on the eve of a promising new year. Returning once again this year is a dinner that includes champagne, dessert and non-alcoholic beverages in our festive setting at St James the Less.

$125, dinner included
