This means that, thus far, we can complete our top two (very much needed and also exciting) projects. We're aiming for quite a bit more participation, so please read your weekly note at the button below. This week's message includes a glance at all we can do if we raise another $250,000, then another $350,000. Are you receiving our Weekly Updates on the Capital Campaign? Emails go out every Tuesday with our progress to date, videos from parishioners, notes from our co-chairs, link to sign up for a visit, and more. You can view the most recent email at the link, where you can also subscribe at the upper righthand corner. For more infomation visit:

Read or Listen to a Sunday SermonOn Doubt, the "Passionate Exercise" Did you know our sermons are always posted on our website in written and audio form? On the Second Sunday of Easter, Mother Storm talked about doubt as a "passionate exercise" (quoting the playwright John Patrick Shanley) and how the opposite of faith isn't doubt, but certainty (theologian Paul Tillich). If Easter Sunday seems like a day of pomp and certainty, the second Sunday of Easter gives us a lot more nuance--and space for questions. Are You a Pledging Member of St. James?
We are so thankful for each every pledge made to St. James. Ongoing financial contributions from parishioners are how Episcopal churches operate. If you take advantage of anything in the church--worship services, classes for kids and adults, outreach programs, fellowship, anything at all--please make a pledge to help us sustain these programs. The annual average pledge at St. James is approx $3500.00. By the numbers, it costs $6000.00 per family to do everything we do. Click the picture above to make a pledge. It's easy and secure. You'll receive a response from the office and the rector. Thank you! For more infomation visit: https://tithe.ly/give_new/www/#/tithely/give-one-time/2227516
