Annual Bronx-Wide Celebration of Martin Luther King JrMonday January 19 + 10:00 AM Dr. King famously noted that Sunday is the most segregated hour in American life. And then there's the Diocese of New York. We have an extremely diverse and vibrant community in this diocese, which we celebrate each year at the Martin Luther King Jr service. Join fellow parishioners at St. James the Less for this inspiring service that showcases the best of the Episcopal Church, and also reminds us there's much work yet to be done. Great for kids and families! Mo. Storm and her family will be there. Join us!! For more infomation visit: http://stjamesscarsdale.org/events/annual-celebration-of-martin-luther-king-jr/2026-01-19

Soon we’ll put the creche, all this away in storage for another year. But we here gathered are the embodiment of that first night, or what we imagine it to be. And what we imagine it to be is just as important as what it was...
