Our welcome-back Sunday is exuberant. Church School resumes during the 10:30 am service, the choir has some festive hymns for us, and to top it all off, the ice cream and hot dog trucks roll up after the service! Bring your own blankets if you want (chairs and tables will be set up in the churchyard, too). Games for the kids will be set out, as well. Can't wait to see everyone!

All are welcome to help us pack 300+ grocery bags for the food insecure in the neighborhood of our partner parish, St. James Episcopal Church in Fordham. Some staff brainstorming led to the creation of a soon-to-be-launched "Church Merch" store. Keep an eye out for our offerings, like our "I was blessed at St. James the Less" t-shirts and sweatshirts, coming soon!

NEW! Mother Storm recorded a self-guided audio tour that you can take any time you feel like brushing up on your knowledge of our church. Look for more to come, and please share it! This tour covers the basics of our church itself: the architecture, baptismal font and altar, and some of the windows. You can find it on our church app any time. 

We're looking for volunteers to help in various ways with our 175th anniversary celebrations. Options are: Gala set-up or check-in, help with our Zero-Waste effort, flyer distribution, tech help, help with advertising, and more. Many hands make light work!

Remember your first time to St. James? Hopefully you were welcomed by a friendly face! We're looking for more greeters to welcome people as they walk through our doors, especially our first-time visitors. Your friendly greeting will very likely be what people remember years from now. Whether you're a newcomer or have been around for a while, we'd love you to join the Greeter Corps!

We are so thankful for each and every pledge made to St. James. Ongoing financial contributions from parishioners are how Episcopal churches operate. If you take advantage of anything in the church--worship services, classes for kids and adults, outreach programs, fellowship, anything at all--please make a pledge to help us sustain these programs.
