Parishioners have the option on the first Sunday of each month at both services to receive healing prayers for themselves or a loved one after receiving Holy Communion. Prayers are said by certified lay chaplains in a quiet space (our chapel) and kept always confidential.

Join us for Morning Prayer from the Book of Common Prayer, led by a lay person at St. James. You can watch anonymously, or make yourself known in the chat sidebar. We use the liturgy from dailyoffice.app. All welcome, and watch afterwards if you like!

Join us as our youth performs to support Rural and Migrant Ministries. A fun night of fellowship, music, and education with the youth groups from Rural and Migrant Ministries. This program will be in partnership with Hitchcock Presbyterian Church in Scarsdale. All welcome! A great event for families and people of all ages.

Join us for an in person or online (whichever is most convenient for you) gathering to discuss "How to Know a Person: the Art of Seeing and Being Deeply Seen" by David Brooks. All are welcome! You can join us for all the gatherings or just the ones you're able to come to. We hope most people can meet in person, but for those joining us on Zoom, the link is here.

Join us for a contemplative 30-minute service based on the traditional service of the Stations of the Cross. We'll be joined by Bishop Allen Shin for the first and last gathering. No need to register--just show up when you can. All welcome!

Our Music and Arts Program for children will now be called the "Choristers at St. James." In keeping with our emphasize on inclusive, intergenerational participation of our children in all church activities, the choristers will sing with the adult choir and help lead us in worship--like the real choir members they are! Also, note that starting March 10 we will offer TWO REHEARSAL TIMES during the week to accommodate families' busy schedules. Rehearsals will be at Thursdays at 3:45 pm and Sundays at 11:30 am. Kids can come to one or both rehearsals any given week. 

Join us on March 10 after the 10:30 am service as St. James parishioner and mom, Meagan Henry, leads us in a discussion of kids' programming and family fellowship at St. James. Looking for more or different programs for your kids? More time with other parents? Chances to volunteer? Or just want to hear others' thoughts and get to know other parents? Then stop into the Isom Room (near the drinking fountain) on the 10th!

Grab a cup of coffee and then join us in Room 16 for an update with Q&A on our annual finances to date. A good opportunity for our members to engage with and learn about the business of the parish. Led by the treasurer Tom Wolfe, former treasurer Tom Finlan, and members of the St. James Finance Committee.

All are welcome to help us pack 300+ grocery bags for the food insecure in the neighborhood of our partner parish, St. James Episcopal Church in Fordham. You can just show up any Saturday. Mother Eliza talks about the seriousness of Christ's call in Lent, noting that the Greek verb for "to deny" means "to lose sigh of one's self and one's own interests" -- a lot more than just "give up chocolate"! 

All are welcome to join us as we make a trip into the city to feed the homeless. This is program in coordination with the Westchester-based "Midnight Run" organization. Youth and children are welcome and encouraged to participate with their families.

We are so thankful for each every pledge made to St. James. Ongoing financial contributions from parishioners are how Episcopal churches operate. If you take advantage of anything in the church--worship services, classes for kids and adults, outreach programs, fellowship, anything at all--please make a pledge to help us sustain these programs.
