Last Sunday's SermonWith a New Format! Last Sunday, Mother Storm preached on the healing of a blind man as told in the Gospel of John. Unlike the other Gospels, John's version of this story is inordinately long. In the sermon, she tries to understand what John was trying to do in creating so much dialogue around a story that the other Gospel writers tell with such efficiency. Is it perhaps to show how we often fail to do the simplest thing a moment is calling us to do--connect with someone, go up to them, establish an encounter? Also, we're trying a new format: video! You can of course just listen to the sermon, as before, or if you want you can see it on video. Bear with us as we learn more and make improvements to this new format over the coming weeks.
