Join us this Sunday to welcome the Rev. Deacon Denise LaVetty, Archdeacon of the Diocese of New York. After the 10:30 service, Denise will also share a brief presentation on the diaconate following the 10:30 service. If you've ever wondered about the diaconate, or considered exploring becoming a deacon (which is a non-stipendiary ordained role, held alongside a regular day job), and/or if you're just curious about this role in our tradition, please plan to attend.

The Fordham Pantry continues to operate throughout the summer.

All are welcome to help us pack 300+ grocery bags for the food insecure in the neighborhood of our partner parish, St. James Episcopal Church in Fordham. Welcome to our annual silent auction for outreach! Bid on an item (or an event) for a good cause. Proceeds from this auction go towards the various ministries we support at St. James the Less, including:

Episcopal Charities, Midnight/Breakfast Run, St. James Fordham Pantry, New York Haiti Project, Rural and Migrant Ministries, and Children's Village. Shop for gifts (or for yourself) AND support a good cause! 

Both services continue throughout the summer, but the 9:00 am will move out to the churchyard for the months of July and August. Join us in this beautiful setting for a simple, familiar service with scripture readings, homily, and Holy Communion.

Starting June 28, Church School will adjourn until September; however, we will have clipboards (during the outdoor service) and plenty of Scripture-themed coloring sheets available every Sunday, and kids are welcome with parents to use the table in the Great Hall during the service as needed (things will also be set out there--arts, crafts, coloring sheets and Scripture-themed games). We want our families with us all summer long, so be assured you'll always find here a welcoming environment for little ones!
