Remember your first time to St. James? Hopefully you were welcomed by a friendly face! We're looking for more greeters to welcome people as they walk through our doors, especially our first-time visitors. Your friendly greeting will very likely be what people remember years from now. Whether you're a newcomer or have been around for a while, we'd love you to join the Greeter Corps!

We're looking for volunteers to help in various ways with our 175th anniversary celebrations. Options are: Gala set-up or check-in, flyer distribution, tech help, help with advertising, and more. Many hands make light work!

Newly launched this year, Choristers at St. James is our choir program for children from pre-K through high school. Choristers learn to sing, read music, learn the fundamentals of music, teamwork, and more. They contribute to the worship life of St. James regularly as part of the great Anglican musical tradition. From Sundays, to feast days, to the Christmas Pageant, St. James Choristers have lots of opportunities for music-making in the life at St. James. Contact Interim Director of Music, Victoria Shields at music@stjamesscarsdale.org for more information, or sign up at the form below and indicate "Choristers" or "Cherubs."

Parents: please be sure to update your member profile so that we can add you to the right lists for your kids' ages/grades. You can also fill out the form below, indicating which programs your child(ren) would like to be involved in. Kids with birthdays and grades entered (just for office use) will automatically be added to the correct lists for their ages. 

Read or listen to Mo. Storm's sermon about Jesus' "bread of life" speech in John's Gospel. One of the main lessons she draws from it is that it describes a whole way of being spiritually, one that's rooted in security and rest in God's provision. Think of all that could come from reaching such a state in our lives.

All are welcome to help us pack 300+ grocery bags for the food insecure in the neighborhood of our partner parish, St. James Episcopal Church in Fordham. We are so thankful for each and every pledge made to St. James. Ongoing financial contributions from parishioners are how Episcopal churches operate. If you take advantage of anything in the church--worship services, classes for kids and adults, outreach programs, fellowship, anything at all--please make a pledge to help us sustain these programs. The annual average pledge at St. James is approx $3,500.00. By the numbers, it costs $6,000.00 per family to do everything we do. Click the picture above to make a pledge. It's easy and secure.
